We have been experiencing issues with our sample scanners in the lab which result in missing barcodes in reported results.


A sample barcode may be missing from your results, but the sample itself is physically present and has been tested in the pool that it arrived in at the lab.


If the pool that the missing barcode was expected to be in has a NOT DETECTED result, you can assume that the missing sample barcode shares the same result as the pool that it is missing from.

If a tested sample with a barcode that did not scan has a DETECTED result, it will get immediate attention and the lab will identify the sample’s barcode and report it to your organization.

We are working diligently on this issue by calibrating the lab scanners and purchasing replacement devices.
